I believe God created us just as we are because it is the best way for He Himself to be glorified, because we all will glorify Him one day depending on our respounce to His free gift of forgiveness for us, some will bow to their knees in judgement glorifying God's perfect justice, and some will bow to their knees in forgiveness glorifying God's perfect free gift of forgiveness.

In my opinion if we were perfect robots that had no choice but to do good and accept God that would not glorify God at all, we would be forced to submit and there would be no choice, no glorification, just a well oiled machine doing it's preprogramed thing. But if we have a choice to reject Him and yet still desire to know Him, this glorifies Him, and if we have a choice to known Him yet choose not to His judgement still glorifies Him.

Once again this is just my point of view I do not want to upset anyone, or try to tell someone they are wrong at all, just giving my point of view.
