Alright...
Much has been said in here, maybe too much. So I am gonna put in one last thought and be done.
I think religion and political affiliations are determined by two factors.
Location and parentage...
I am willing to bet Jharris and Indianavx both had fathers and mothers who were republican. I know for a fact they both live in the midwest in a fine state that is also mostly Republican.
I would also venture to guess( and please correct me if I am wrong)they had grandfathers and grandmothers who were also GOP.
I would also bet if they were both born and raised in Iraq,They might both be devout muslims and possibly insurgents, Burning American flags and shouting "Death to America" as loud as possible.
My point is I think where you live and what your parents believe greatly influences your own beliefs.
If I was born in India, I might be a hindu, and hate pakistanis.
If I were born in Mexico, I might be Catholic, and hate the INS.
If I were born in Germany in the 40's, I might hate jews.
I just think knowing that it is important to think outside the box, and question the beliefs you have been spoon fed since birth.
just my 2 cents.
Think about it..
