The bars look great, but where are your tires?
Peace.

Don't worry. After you take them off and on 4 times you can actually do it in 30-60 minutes. The trick is to remove the bars from the brackets & bolt them in place first - put the bars on last.
I really like the look of the black on my Proton but still haven't managed to modify the brackets to work with my wheel/tire combo so right now I'm still running without. One day I'll get'r done.
And if you actually want to be able to step on them, put about 9-10 thick washers on each side. That's what I did to mine.
I'm planning on mine being slightly lower rather than pushing them out. That should make them more useful without making them knee bangers.
Look at my gallery - I don't see how you can bang your knees up against it. But of course, it's your VX and you can do what you like - mine was just a quick simple fix without any major mod.
Yah, I seen it. Nice.
I was just going by what Tone said. He recommended spacing it out with washers so you can actually get your foot on it but if you slide out of the VX without stepping on the bar, it'll catch you on the back of the leg.
BTW- like the bars up front too. Wifey wants me to get a set. How do you like 'em?
Love 'em and I have the rear taillight guards too - perfect match![]()
