Spent under a grand by shopping around, getting lucky finding returned items/close out sales @ best buy & ebay.

Take your time & get the amp you want, then get speakers of the correct wattage/ohm rating. Do a lot of research & listen to as many different brands/models as possible.

It stays clear at volumes that make my ears ring...but won't cause involuntary urination like Bijus system.
