I'm with VX IronWoman on this. She said it very well. I don't have a dog in the fight, but Chopper was on the money with these customers being more patient than I would have been. If personal issues were impacting his ability to provide a service, the customers should have their money refunded, no questions asked. If the customer chose to wait it out instead, that would be their choice. It's an unfortunate situation all around as I don't want people to think we're ganging up on this guy in light of whatever his personal problems are. However, regardless of what the issues were, he should not have taken the money and let this much time elapse w/o doing anything, much less responding to concerns voiced by his own customers.

Where in them do I claim to have an order that was given to RON. Or that he had not delivered on an order? Perhaps, you should take a course, in English comprehension or is English your second language? For some reason, you have taken a mere opinion and launched your own crusade in defense of RON.

Starting in the beginning:

Back on July 30, 07 you stated, "Ya, Ron posts every now an then stating he does what ha(sic) can as fast as he can but asks for our patience since all this stuff is done in his spare time. Sometimes waiting is fun. but we are lucky enough to have someone like Ron who offer aftermarket products since nobody else does. Hang in there, Ron will come through..

Miraculously and by some sheer coincidence, that very same day Ron posts on this thread with the following, "Hi Folks, I've just been informed of the recent concern about my whereabouts on this forum etc. etc. (underlined for emphasis) Of course the letter goes on to apologize and promise delivery in a few weeks etc. But, nowhere, in his post is there an indication of how to make contact with him. But it appears abundantly clear to me someone at this site, "informed" him of this thread.

Is it a correct assumption on my part that you were the one who advised him of this thread? I suspect its so because you so vehemently attacked me for my "hood talk" post..and defended him like he was a bro'. Is he? And if it is true that you were the one that "informed" Ron, then why did you not just give Petos a method for him to make contact? Then if you didn't then of course somedody else here did...Don't you think?

BTW: After you insinuated I was a high schooler on MySpace (which made me smile BTW, not mad) I may have segued in a confusing way. What I meant to say was that this matter involving Ron, is not a high schooler (juvenile) matter and I wanted to illustrate (maybe incorrectly) that he is an adult and thus he would be tried in this state, in the regular Superior Court criminal system, that is however, if he doesn't graduate over to a Federal court (aka Big Dogs) This may be a big dog issue as it involves interstate commerce. That's all I was trying to say....No E-rage, I'm not stickin of pins into dolls with Ron's likenness, I didn't even kick the dog!!

You see Mr. Worm, I have been knocking around the Ca. court system since 1979 and while it exclusively involves civil litigations (what I actually do is unimportant, but I'am not a judge or an attorney) I have in that time seen it all. Your remarks and excusing Ron because of "personal issues" is like squeaking chalk or fingernails on a blackboard to me. Pure and simple its just plan LAME. Yes, it is an outrage to read a thread like Petros. What Ron did was an "outrage" but I was not outraged. When I first read "Petros" post I wondered how he must feel, I thought like, probably the way I feel when I put money in a coffee machine and the coffees come out but the cup doesn't drop or the paper machine cover stays shut after you put the quarters(your last 2) in. You stand there with that "robbed" feeling.... its a helpless feeling being mugged like that. Then you could start rationalizing by thinking, "Well it coulda been worse!! I coulda been in a desperate state and this happened in front of a pay toilet! But we are not talking about two quarters here we talkin bout $2K!

As for, "put up or shut up" I'll shut up because its not my "dog fight". I was not a victim here...and I guess some of you have never been a victim...so I suggest you wait until the day you are, and then lend an opinion about the person that "gottcha good"...and rationalize it by saying, "He musta had personal problems"

As for the "hood talk" on my first message, to all of those who deem Ron disrespected....Sorry, but that's where I'm from....The "Hood"....how else I'm I supposed to talk? I grew up at 537 W. 83rd Street, LA Ca. Google it!

As for you WORM...I'm done, its over..Your not going to smoke me out anymore..Your even welcome to come my way for a visit and if you run into Ron bring him too. Then we'll play this game like in the movie, "Naked Prey" he can play Cornell Wilde's part..... I apologize for that, just kidding. Im a law abiding citizen now...Seriously Worm lets end it... we are overshadowing the meaning behind this thread..

He might even contact them, you never know..Maybe you might still be able to reach him some way. If he doesn't have the money...he can always arrange to make payments

WormGod and Rocket Man... I think you need to take your personal affairs into the PM section of this forum; because you seriously hi jacked this thread... I believe you both owe an apology to all those who are trying to get in touch with Ron or figure out a way to solve their problems with him, because your words in this thread did not help them in any manner. If anything, you are going to make those who are looking for help feel bad about posting because they appear to be causing animosity amongst members.

I have no contacts with Ron other than what folks here may have had.

And rocketman, I am not here to fight. But, after seeing threads like this get pop up and go on and on, I find that people who are directly affected need to take action. I had dealings with Ron in the past and many consisted of being quite patient. However, Ron always came through, "for me". Perhaps in a better time in Ron's life, when he had more time for crafting.

Yes, my manner of entering the thread was bold and intimidating, but I also realize sometimes people need that iron fist standing behind them to take a hesitant step forward and take more action. My approach was clearly misunderstood and I should have been approached from a better angle on my part, or not at all. Apologies if that was the case. I care not to share just how difficult my life was growing up as that does not affect how I conduct things in my life as an adult, though, it does not change the fact that the matter at hand is about Ron and what can be done.

Apologies to all for the public pissing match. I have no open orders to Ron, but I did send a couple emails from multiple computers to see if I could get a hold of him, though, I only have the listed emails you all already have, I am sure. No response, yet, so at least know that I am trying to help those that are looking for answers and I am not simply here looking to piss on any parades.

From experience I know they make for some protection, though .



NOTE: Ron's skids are not functional plates. They are for great looks.
