I'm in agreement on the FPR being the cause of your starting problems...same symptoms mine displayed before it was replaced.
It was under warranty at that time, & the tech indicated it wasn't an unusual problem with our particular engine.(that was before s/c)

Check my gallery for intake options, pm or email me if questions.

(I'd throw up a pic here, but Bart gets weirded out when I post s/c pics.)

Yikes! You mean Ldub's Franken-intake?!? Pretty radical... I will go the drop-in route (didn't realize K&N made one).

Ahh... the FPR is likely causing the starting problem. Ok, thanks! I will have them see what they messed up on it and feex-feex.

    Any exhaust suggestions?

You can use this K&N Air Filter (33-2064) in your stock airbox. They're stupidly expensive, and they always seem to be a special order part. Or, they're about $50 online.

Congrats! Passing on a highway is no longer gonna be an a55dragging experience.

The EGR routing I was speaking of basically sends the existing fuel line BEHIND the bracket that rests behind the EGR itself. This put it back far enough so it wasnt resting near the EGR and EGR line, which gets pretty hot. If a knowledgeable mechanic did the install, I am SURE he had this in mind.
