yeah my vx wants to run, if i dont pay close attention to brake pressure my vx will try to run away! my normal idle in summer is about 720-750.. during winter around 800.. when in park or neutral.. 900-1000
It's NORMAL for all vehicles with Automatic transmissions to "creep forward" when you take your foot off the brake.
Well yeah, of course; but the topic is with how much more authority the VX "creeps" when compared to other autos. Not every automatic equipped vehicle will move forward on an incline like the VX will.

The torque converter engages at a pretty low RPM. It takes some getting used to, but on this hilly island I love it!
Sold the VX 11-21-07. It was fun while I had it!
Thanks for all the help.

Just wanted to add my 2 cents and say that my VX also creeps forward at idle..and does so with some vigour too! I think its normal...
