Try removing the MAF sensor & cleaning it with MAF cleaner.
I've experienced the same problem in the past & found that excess filter oil was coating the "innards" of the MAF.
Be gentle, as the sensors are very delicate.
Also, the "honeycomb" thinger (an industry term)can be gently removed with a dental pic & tossed if you would like a bit more flow.
