but, I really would like to hear about the MPG when bigger than stock tires are mounted on a Vehicross.

Figures... anyone with big tires know their MPG?????

I'm getting around 16-17 hwy. & 10-12 in town...my tire/wheel combination tips the scales at 100 lb. per.
I'd no doubt get better mileage around town if I didn't have a horrible addiction to the forces of acceleration.
Also supercharged, K&N cone filter & Borla muffler with 3+" of lift.

I don't want you to think I am suggesting you do anything one way or the other, but as a point of reference, I did get my best mileage ever(22.92) last year going over Vail pass (filled up about 100 mi. before the summit) with 265/70x16" tires on stock rims. (no lift)
And yes, I did compensate for odo error.
