Zeus I have never heard of the Vector, but that is awesome. That really competes with my personal favorite. The 1989 25th Anniversary Lambo Countach. I love the hard edges and angles.

Ah, the Vector... Yeah, I always wanted one of those. I had forgotten about them! Maybe for my next midlife crisis I'll go searching for one. I hope to have a midlife crisis every couple of years...

As for the lambo? Between the treatment that TopGear gave it, and my friend's personal experience with one, you'd be better off to not pick one up. My understanding is that they're MUCH cooler as a poster on your wall than as iron in the garage.

My friend worked in a sports car shop, and they had one in for some repair work. The shop HATED that car...

Call me crazy, but I don't think I have seen a single Mercedes that I like. To me, this thing just looks like a nicer version of the Crossfire.



Maybe its what's under the hood that is the attraction, but man, I'd rather have another VX than one of those...I don't care how fast it is!

Now that Vector thing is another story. That car is sick lookin.

PS - The Mercedes thing reminds me, last weekend I drove over to San Fran. I was at some gas station outside of Sacramento, and some guy walked up to me and said, "I bet a lot of people ask you about this truck?", I was like, "yeah, I do get a lot of questions". And then he was like, "Lemmi guess, it looks like a Mercedes body". I was like , and then I told him what it was. He was surprised and so was I. I don't see an ounce of Mercedes in the VX....but again, maybe its me who is crazy.

Nope, no Merc in the VX. They're doing a black version of the "08 SLR roadster as well. Sorry Tone, NO more big cars, no M or R anything,(but the 500hp R looks fun) I must be getting old, or they're getting better..ok, both....But MBs never appealed to me, till very recently. I think the upcomming Gullwing is the prettiest computer drawing of a car, I have ever seen. It is the McLaren replacement, due in three years. All in house, AMG built...Ron has been fired, maybe just laid off, the SLR hurt him, bad.
