I thought I had heard of all the issues to expect on the VX, but I hadn't heard of this one.
Also, was the switch easy to find?

it was the AutoTrans Interceptor Adjustable Electronic Shift Kit I was thinking of. That does sound better than shift thingy, doesn't it...
