no, no, no, silly! I wasn't clear in my first post, my mistake. I was actually talking about the "car show" part of the event.
There will be NHRA (local cars) | D1 | and Auto Show. No way in hell our VX's will even be able to compete with the D1 cars! What were you guys thinking!! HAHA
As for D1 considered rice, no, I also was talking about the car show, or how some would have put it a rice show... Its horrible how the word ricer is so twisted these days from what it used to be back in 97-98 when I first started doing this stuff back in Japan.
01 VX Kaiser | Love it! Drive it! Mod it! MYVEHICROSS.com | VX-WIKI
Rancho RS9000X | VXC Shifter Plates | PV2 | Hella Micro DE fogs | Carbon Fiber Hood | AfterShock Skid Plates (front, rear, sides)
Ok--was thinkin' maybe they hold this event on a wet sod farm
I actually had to hit up Wikipedia to be sure, but apparently, you need to be RWD to drift.
I seem to recall for the latest Fast and Furryous movie, they took the ol' fire axe to the front axles on a number of their AWD drifting cars.AWD vehicles, such as the Subaru Impreza WRX STi, and Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution are converted to rear wheel drive so they can perform drifting.
Please don't hold it against me too much that I actually watched Tokyo Drift. I needed to maintain credibility with the nephews.![]()
Tokyo drift has a great soundtrack...never saw the movie though...Maybe i could enter and win for coolest stock vehicle...lol...It would be fun to go to...but we will see when those days come...anyone planning to go...mayber we could meet up there and have a show of our own...?
I was going to register my VX ($50.85 total) into the car show.. my thinking is, it is so much easier to get stuff you collected into the car instead of having to walk hella far and out the gates just to empty your hands. AND also a good way to show off a vehicle that not that many people know about! Also, I'm hoping I get my Sony α100 by then!Originally Posted by VXIRONwoMAN

Hey, I *liked* Tokyo Drift. Great subwoofer workout and it was great eye candy in HD, which is all you can expect from the franchaise anyway. The only thing I couldn't get over was how this white boy travels all the way to Japan and the only chick he hooks up with is a latina from australia?? What is this the 50's or something?
