    6" whoofers in the doors.

I installed some 6" speakers in my doors today. The stock ones had rotted away and rattled like mad!

First I used a roto tool to do the cut on the stock mounting ring...

The new larger and better sounding speakers.

They sound great! I also replaced the rear speakers with a pair of Sony 4" that I salvaged from a big projection TV. They also sound great.

While I was in the panel in the back, I took out the seat belts. There's no back seat so why have the belts? They'll get stored away with the seat.
Sold the VX 11-21-07. It was fun while I had it!
    Thanks for all the help.

nice work. *exactly* how i got mine to fit.

are those image dynamics? look exactly like my mid-bass... (only my carbon fiber cone is black.).

I think so... I just liked the way they were built when I saw them. Rugged carbon/kevlar cone, inverted dust cover, rubber surround, 1" voice coil. They're yummy.
