Got it put on sunday then clearanced it last night, was about 1/16" too long on the bottom.

Help me with the lingo. What do you mean by clearanced it last night and was about 1/16" too long on the bottom.

It went past the axle housing a little bit creating a lip that could easily get caught on a rock. So I brought home my grinder and made it flush with the housing. I also rounded it towards the back a bit in case I do get on a rock with it, it will slide off smoothly.
