Could be the elbow on the air box intake. It makes a noise when pulling in lots of air.
I took mine off - made a deeper sounding intake - cool....

It might be your Intake Manifold Gaskets -- especially if you've also noticed any odd or irratic surging RPMs at idle.

im going to check those things today after work and ill post it if it helped.
Thanks guys
I just replaced my intake manifold gasket to remedy the same symptom. My whistle could be heard even at idle, but became louder as the RPMs increased. I hope your whistle is from something easier to fix. Good luck.

Instead of actually removing the Intake, if you have an extra pair of hands around to help-out, it is *possible* to lift the Intake up off of the studs just enough to remove to old Gaskets and slide the new ones into place.
check your pcv
another thing i notice today while driving. there is no whistling when engine is cold and it starts when engine get to mormal work temperature
