Power Window Failure, is this it????

OK, with a heavy heart, I think my VX has finally succombed to the dreaded power window failure on the passenger side. Neither the driver's side nor the passenger side switches work. I was hoping it was a fuse issue, but according to the owner's manual, the fuse works on both windows and the driver's side works fine.
Does this sound like a symptom of the standard VX power window problem?
If so, what is the fix, replace the regulator?

Joe, saw this same issue a few weeks ago. Do you have the window locked with the lock button on your side?

rowhard, u could be right. . but did ur windows always get stuck have way up. and if so u needed to lube them a while back so u didn't put stress to the window motor. and if that was the case, i have to say it probley is broken now, but if they where working perfectly and just died, i have no clue what it could be. next person probley will help u better if my idea of ur issue does not work.

um, I didn't do it, someone else pushed the button, I swear, it wasn't me,,,,,,,
ok ok, the windows worked today and I was thinking it was just something quirky I would need to get used to, I used to own 2 Alfa's so it's second nature sometimes,
I admit, I always thought the lockout button was for the power door locks, you know like in 4 DOOR cars, so the fact that I realized it was down and released it last night when I got home didn't register
Well, I'm an idiot, but apparently I'm not the only one as this must have happened to some others in the past
Either way, my windows work! Now back to never ever using them again so I don't have to deal with them breaking on me!!!
