U.K. Owner needs help with head gaskets

Hi everyone you may remember me from the U.K. with the blue V.X. well I sold it some time ago and bought myself a Pajero Evolution for my sins.
Anyway the guy who bought my V.X. has a problem sourcing some parts and I thought well you guys will able to sort this little problem out I am awaiting a telephone call from him with the details so as soon as I hear from him I'll post back. Thinking about it is the japanese market models a different engine size?

I think somebody will post St. Charles Isuzu contact info shortly, I dont remember the number.

I dont see why the older Trooper 3.2 would be different. Might want to crossmatch engine codes.

The engine there (6VD1 DOHC 3.2L) is the same as Opel/Vauxhall Frontera after 1998, so there should be no problem with parts in UK.
2001 Isuzu VehiCROSS (build in progress): 4JX1/A340/part time, 2" body lift, front Aisin hubs, rear Aussie Locker, 4.56 gears, OEM rear sway bar disconnect, AirFlow snorkel, cabin air filter
1980 Jeep Cherokee (assembling): 1.5" body lift, TBI, HEI
    1987 AMC Eagle: stock

Just confirming from sunny Somerset, UK, that the Trooper 3.2/ Monteray has the same engine- I have a LWB Trooper Citation 3.2 as well as a 2000 Vehicross in Foxfire red (which has just been advertised for sale due to ill health, sob)...
Only done 34000 miles since imported into UK brand new in 2000- worse still, I've only managed to add 600 miles towards that- how cruel can life get? :nog:
