My VX lost weight and got a tan...for Moab!
Just in time for Moab!
I've removed the rear seat, which was HEAVIER than I'd realized. I'll want the extra room back there for my dogs and my travel junk. A lighter VX gets better mileage, right? I'm also removing the Thule roof rack, for aerodynamic reasons. I won't be needing it for the cross-country drive.
Then I added some weight BACK (although not much) by installing a front skid plate (thanks, Ron, for finally getting it to me!), popping in the WeatherTech side window deflectors, and adding some DARK window tint.
My VX may not be as stealthy as Bart's, but it's pretty darned dark now. I think this is a vehicle that, say, a choosy person like Darth Vader might drive.
But...but...my VX is almost finished! I don't know what else I can do for it! I mean, after I get some black diamond-plate rubber matting cut to fit the cargo area. Then what?!?!?!?
