biju, this is what happens when you build such a bad-*** system. maybe you better throw in some pyle coaxials to tame it down a bit.![]()

i still dont get it?like why can't u show us anymore? what did u do wrong or why is that guy mad at you? sorry I'm just lost in this topic.
way ahead of ya. here's my new sub set up:Originally Posted by iamjacksadrenalgland

costie: no worries fellow vx'er. sometimes the few ruin it for the many - nothing new really. i promise to share the end result. just not going to share the way in which everything is installed like i wanted to... just too risky given the attention it generates. besides, if one of these dinks *really* wanted my equipment they'd only have to look to the public tread to see how it was installed - which provides a blueprint on how to uninstall it. (which is something i really didn't worry/think about before this). does that make sense?

thrilled about the outcome of the custom fab ceiling mount for the DDC unit - I had to share...

Nicely done!
But for opinion sake I woulda liked it more if the DDC units face was flush to the face of the pod.
Otherwise It still looks good!

progress is being made indeed. security was *just* finished on sunday (yes, it took that long...) i added some last minute 'goodies' as a result of my newly found paranoia.
now that that's in and completely functional i might feel a little safer providing some pix here and there until she's done done. we'll see...

Oh I see! BTW, what did you use to build the pod? Considering its size...Originally Posted by biju

That is pimpy. I would like to do something like this with one of Tone's scan guages. Maybe you can show me some details when we meet up in the Moab!

switched up the connection system. newest battery terminals & anl fuse holders from jl (much better design on these than the old systems):
150amp h/o alt showing connection terminal to pos. post:
along with the new alt i'm also doing the big three (3) with 2/0ga power/ground.![]()
once the alts in i'll have all wires ran - and will be ready to move on to enclosure fabrication. this include the doors, kick panels, and sub enclosure.
(let me tell ya... getting 3 runs of beefy 12ga wire run through the door boots was no small feat by any stretch of the imagination.)
sooooo much to do yet.![]()
