it's easy, go buy engine paint, thats what i used, it can hold up to 500 degress, and it has ceramic in it, so it's really thick. but make sure to clean it well from oils. all u need is some tape, paint and a good hand. paint can from auto zone, or pep boys. and paint tape from home depot or where ever u can.
Have fun and i hope it comes out good.

    get it.

Does that paint flex well? The reason I ask is because sometimes I have to really work that cover off because of an ill-fitting rubber grommet, and I wouldn't want to paint it, then have to strip and repaint the first time I take it off.

bro this is like the best paint i have ever used. i used it on my brakes and never had a problem before with it, on all my vehicals in the past and present. also many othey parts. on plastic its been awsome, just make sure to take it off and paint it like in the back yard or what ever. put as many coats as u can, i prob... used like 7 coats, it dries pretty fast like 10-20 min's per coat, then let sit there when done for the rest of the day or till the next morning. you will see how thick it will come out to, even from the first 2 coats u will see the thickness. the reason i tell u to make it thick is cuz the thicker it is, the better it will look and it will feel like u coated with like rubber but hard. the paint can will have a pic. of an engine on it and will have crome and the color u chose on the can.
