Pioneer DEH-P880PRS
i went with the proven p880prs by pioneer.
i wanted a head unit with decent EQ capability (this one has dual 16-band, time alignment, and 3-way crossovers) to build my system around without an external EQ. i also wanted satellite radio interface, 24-bit digital-to-audio converters, and high voltage preouts. this one fit the bill and happened to look pretty sleek as well.
i read a lot of opinions on car audio forums before making this purchase, and i think it was well worth my time. i am very impressed with its capabilites and can't wait to move forward with the install. but the girlfriend is moving in next month, and only the good man upstairs knows what she's going to make me buy to get the place up to her standards, so i better hold off for a while.
