18" Replacement Wheels (one more time)

Ok, I did a search, but it was not clear what, if any, answer there is. All of my wheels are peeling quite badly. What replacement wheels have other owners found? Preferably in non-chrome as I am in Northern Wisconsin where the winter salt is really bad. Thanks

Thank you Uncle Asa. I just spent a half hour browsing. I like the Dominator Teflon ARs.

I looked, and the filter limits the offset from 0 to 20, our O.E.M. offset is 38mm.

Ok, but what does that really mean? With the +12 offset, I thought that just meant the wheels would stick out further than OEM, thereby presenting a 'bulldog' stance?

Yes, a 12mm would push the rim edge out 1 inch, clearance could be an issue

Would any of you folks with wheel/tire experience be able to tell me if 265/65/R18's would work with this wheel on my beloved VX?

Also use this site for tire info

    http://www.discounttire.com/dtcs/infoTireMath.dos

Your requested set up is 31.56. Now the only thing that would not let you do that w/out a lift is the correct offset. Of course you would have to trim.

265 r almost 10" across but if they fit on ur stockers, which r 7" wide(or was it 8) they will fit.

Yes, the 265/65's are currently on the VX with the stock rims. I really did not have to trim to get them to work but there was so little clearance, I ended up trimming just a little. But now with these new rims, I am assuming I will have to trim some more, but any idea how much? 1", 2"??

IF the wheel pictured in that link is what your talking about, it sure looks like a very negative offset. Of course you could put almost tire on it if it's the correct dia, but would you have the clearance inside the wheel wells?

Sorry, I see I did not provide enough info for people to help. I looked but could not find a listed offset, so I have sent an email to the company asking for the info.
