I've seen a few of these in person here in San Diego. My roommate works in commercial real estate and one of the brokers he works with just bought 2(!).
Answer: I don't know why...
They're pretty awesome inventions but who will ever drive them like they were built to be driven?
FYI- registration is over 100 grand a year on one of them!

lets hope he doesnt break anything, just hte little blinker switch (the little stick thing) is a good 30k. but im sure if u could afford 2 of them 30k is nothing more but chump change....I've seen a few of these in person here in San Diego. yea.. i believe the legal term for that kid is deceased
..so do you have to do 75% worth of damage to a car like that for them to total it.. or will your insurance pay hundreds of thousands to fix it i wonder
