“Beating the Scammers”
If you receive e-mail from a bank or business that requests any type
of personal information, you can make sure that it is not spam by
simply placing the mouse on the URL address and verifying the
address is correct on the bottom of the computer screen. If the
address on the bottom does not match the URL address, close and
delete the entire e-mail, it is a scam…
Remember, legitimate businesses will NEVER ask for your personal
information via email.
