Thats a new one on me. VX's all started with the same stock radio/cd equipment - at least the ones imported to the U.S.Originally Posted by uncle_asa

When I was looking for my VX I was strictly looking for a 2000 IronMan under 50K. Found one but later found out that the stereo was upgraded. So I lucked out.
JHarris, you've been doing a lot of upgrades on your Ironman. Do you have any RECENT recent photos showing your VX's current status? You've actually been one of the people on this forum motivating me to get MY ride in shape!Originally Posted by JHarris1385
Not really not since the lift/tires/rims. I need to take some good ones. I seems like every weekend I am doing something to it.
I got the grill badge in the mail yesterday. Got a chrome liscense plate in the mail today.
Put mock- chrome door sills on sunday, as well as the passenger seat extensioner. (GREAT MOD)
I have yet to place the ebay headrest-dashboard emblems on either.
As well as put the scan-guage in a permament spot.
I swear Ill take pictures soon. Honestly Ill try Sunday. And I need to post my stock 18's for sale too.
I still think your wheels are friggen' AWESOME for an Ironman. I can't imagine any other design looking better. It's way nicer than the stock wheels.Originally Posted by JHarris1385

Hey, I didn't know that bit of Ironman trivia...the upgraded speakers in the 2000. Sony's XPlode line was black-and-red anyway, so that's a good fit! Pretty cool.
The stock '99 Ironman stereo worked and sounded pretty good to me, but I DID end up adding an amp and a subwoofer later. It sounded a bajillion times better after that!
