Hey, I didn't know that bit of Ironman trivia...the upgraded speakers in the 2000. Sony's XPlode line was black-and-red anyway, so that's a good fit! Pretty cool.
The stock '99 Ironman stereo worked and sounded pretty good to me, but I DID end up adding an amp and a subwoofer later. It sounded a bajillion times better after that!
JHarris, you've been doing a lot of upgrades on your Ironman. Do you have any RECENT recent photos showing your VX's current status? You've actually been one of the people on this forum motivating me to get MY ride in shape!Originally Posted by JHarris1385
Not really not since the lift/tires/rims. I need to take some good ones. I seems like every weekend I am doing something to it.
I got the grill badge in the mail yesterday. Got a chrome liscense plate in the mail today.
Put mock- chrome door sills on sunday, as well as the passenger seat extensioner. (GREAT MOD)
I have yet to place the ebay headrest-dashboard emblems on either.
As well as put the scan-guage in a permament spot.
I swear Ill take pictures soon. Honestly Ill try Sunday. And I need to post my stock 18's for sale too.
Yeah, Billy, I'm the ANTI-Triathlete! The nega-triathlete! That's why I now drive an Ebony!Originally Posted by Triathlete

I still think your wheels are friggen' AWESOME for an Ironman. I can't imagine any other design looking better. It's way nicer than the stock wheels.Originally Posted by JHarris1385
The chrome 20''s or the Pro-Comp's? Thanks.
I looked at your gallery and saw the white-on-black wheels...are those the Pro-Comps?
Yes Pro-Comp Extreme Series.
That's what I thought. Out of the millions of options, YOU chose WISELY.

Isuzu also did an Ironman show VX that they would set up at events:
This image is from the Detroit Auto Show - wonder what happened to that one? Appears to be a 2000 model (chrome wheels) so probably the 1999 Detroit show.

Thanks. I took me a long time to find something I really like and I got them for $121 a piece.
I swear everyone on my blog about what rims should I get told me they would not fit, someone even told me they would stick out 4.5 inches with the backspacking it had. But they are practically flush.
Thanks for the complements. I am also thinking about powdercoating a steel wheel white as well.
That's mine VX Ironman with large logo and white wheels you got in the photo. Wow where did you get this photo?
