Yep, fill until a little comes back out & put the plug back in when it quits.

Don't overfill.

Yeah my front diff had the goop in the drain plug too like ldub's and i had to do the pokey thing with the hanger.At first i put the bolt back in thinking that i had the wrong one out.then decided that that was it and it must be plugged.
