Oh, yeah! You're one to talk my Canadian friend!

Hardly a sugardaddy. Although, it does help that I have a tunnel under the house that goes to Mexico. But keep that between the two of us.

It did run a bit spendy, but worth it for the long haul IMHO. Still not done, as I can't stand my VX stock... However, the other stuff will have to wait a bit as I recover from this little stint. I'm on the 'fast track' to get her up to speed. After all, Moab is only a few months away... :_drool:

On the fuel gauge front: The sender unit is a complete unit with float/sensor and everything. I got to keep the original as the service tech says it's in perfect shape (only knowing this AFTER taking it out). Give me some time and I'll post a picture of it.

    Talking

    Soooo...Am I to assume that the Prot is a she-male ?...

It would seem so, since you're giving her Pamprin.

"PAMPRIN® is more than pain relief, it's period relief."

huh? lol... A pirate owner driving a VX that needs Pamprin. Now THAT's a storyline for prime time TV... FOX possibly.

Here are some pics of the fuel sensor with float they replaced in my tank. Again, service tech said the sensor was just fine, but only could test that after installing a new one:

...kind of interesting. I had no idea this is what they looked like. Just wish the replacement had fixed the gauge dancing. According to WILLY, the next logical place to look will be a screw on the back of the gauge itself!

Actually - the unit is static, and the metal arm w/ float moves up and down on a pivot attached to the unit.

However, you might be saying the same thing - I'm not quite sure... lol.
