This is an excellent thread! Unfortunately, I cannot just pick oneWhen I first started down the road of modding...the look I was wanting was what could be called the "Urban Assault Vehicle Look". The chief inspiration I found was Baxman's ride:
However, his wheel/tire combo had zero mm offset requiring more cutting & grinding then I wanted to do myself. Daver's @ 10mm was ideal. However, Baxman's "Nitro" American Racing wheels were not available in 10mm...so I bought the "Breaker" style American Racing Wheel in 12mm offset. Just before I purchased the BF Goodrich tires Baxman had, my brother (a huge BF fan!) told me about the new Bridgestone Revo's and how he thought for the street and my VX they would be a better choice AT tire for cornering & low noise. Been in love with them ever since!
As far as the engine compartment..Jayfotos's setup was the inspiration for me!
Finally, I keep looking at my stock wheels (sitting in the basement) with original Bridgestones that are well worn and might buy some Yokohama AVS tires as I really liked that look too which is because of MrTew:
