You could use the four "runner ups" as four smaller pictures on the back of the calendar ("bonus" pictures!) and put the most voted for photo as the cover.
Calmini Cone Air Filter, PowerVault PV2 Muffler, OME Trooper Springs, Rancho RS9000X Shocks, 285/75R16 Nitto Grappler AT's, Pioneer DEH P8000R In-Dash CD, Amps and Drivers Built by Orion, Wires and Fuse Blocks by KnuKonceptz, Vibration Damping by BQuiet, Alarm System featuring Auto Start and Remote Windows, Yakima LoadWarrior w/Full Size Spare, Debadged/Custom Titanium Grill Logo, Tint (5% Rear / 20% Front), Steel Braided Brake Lines, G2 Painted Calipers

How about the original concept car as the cover photo? Or, can we use the Area 51 ad as a cover?

bart if you want to send me some of the high res photos i can test out my plotter to see how well the photos turn out.. its supposed to be able to print at 4800 dpi in color and handle up to 5000 pages a month, i may be able to do the printing out of my house... calendars would be printed on 11x17 paper so each photo and calendar grid would be 8-1/2 x 11

i doubt we would be able to use the ad as a cover, we dont have rights to it.. unless someone who has it took a high res photo of it.. then maybe it would be considered photography instead of copyright infringement? i love the idea of using the 3 12th place photos that 'lose' in the poll to be bonus photos on the back page!! dont know how cafepress will do them though, im sure they have a preset calendar layout that asks for 12 photos and thats it, barts the one who would know the answer to that

Well, since the last 2 tie breaker images are so close, we could use one extra one so I have one to use for the cover.

I need to get full size images for all the shots to compile the calender, and then everyone needs to hope CafePress doesn't squash the whole thing because of their © infringment rules.

    another question...

by the time these would hit our mailboxes, we're looking at ~Feb 1st right?
so is the January shot going to be 2007 or for 2008?

i'm sure we could get better preperation for another one next year, but January's shot probably isn't going to get a fair piece of the action on this one, will it?

not like it will matter a couple of months down the road anyway...just thinking.

Cryonman has a good point - this late in the game it would make sense to do a 13 month calendar (Jan 07 - Jan 08).

Is there some reason you're using CafePress? I'm sure there are many other options if they aren't cutting the mustard.

I was gonna use cafepress because its easy (relatively) and fast.

But, if someone else has a better idea and would like to take over, that would be fine with me. Once I get all the winners full size shots, I will compile the calender.

Another thing, CafePress only has 12 month calender layouts, I cannot modify it.

So, I will gladly throw in the towel here if someone else wants to take over.
