Gentle request of advice on comfy

I got rancho rs5000 shocks which are real nice,firm ride but soft,but to get a bit softer ride i pulled my rear wheels of and cut the lower section of the rubber bump stops off with the sawzall,my bump stops were only about 1/4 inch from the axle and mmmmm seems stupid. o and dont have your tires inflated to the maximum psi,my max psi on my toyo st tires is 50 psi and i run them at 45 psi which seems perfect,i have tried the 50 psi and the 42 psi,the 50 is too hard and the 42 is too soft lmfao

Wow! What tires (size) do you use? I'm using stock tires (both 245/60R18 for the summer time, and 245/70R16 for the winter) and inflate them to Isuzu suggested 29 psi.

I got 275/55/18 toyo st tires,they look sweet and are real nice tires.

Nice,Willy.... I had to respond to this post, I like it so much... Bilstein shocks will go a long way toward softening up that ride. They are a little too soft for most, so they may be just what you're looking for. Good luck with the baby, Wayne

I highly recommend Rancho RS9000 adjustable and put them on the softest setting (#1). I also bought the in-cabin remote control unit but never installed it. I'm not for or against it, just never took the time to do it and I don't plan to do much adjustment. If you're interested, PM me for a cheap price since it's just collecting dust right now.

I am curreently using Falken Tyre 265x50x20,and I think its not because of my tire.I tried to cut the rear stopper and replace the rear spring with volvo 960 spring ,cut the 2 coils to lower my rear to look even with the front n great looking now.I havent changed the shock yet..I remove the front rubber stopper..On the flat nice road seems ok,but on the hump ...huhh ..the rear back jumpy just after it passes the hump...So all friends here recomended Rancho 9000 ajustable .Thank you all,but dont you think changing the shock alone will not solve the total issue?I really dream to have a smooth less bumpy vehicross without pillow though.Is the rancho double action or single action ..anyone know the price n the correct tipe for the front n rear shock?thank you for attending to my problems in details..
