My last big road trip was driving from DFW to move here. In 1999, bought my Ironman, new, from a DFW dealership and removed the decals the next day. Thought the decals made my VX look cheap and tacky.

Checking in from Tomball, TX. VX1 from Tampa/Clearwater has the coolest car combo - Ironman & XK8...in the same garage. :yesy:
Here she is...clean and basically a garage queen. I would love to take her out and get her nasty but the truth is...I can't remember the last time she was rained on. I know she didn't see rain this summer. Thanks, JD

got a 99 ironman a few weeks ago the ironmam logo on the hood is barley visable black outlined letters is this the way it came or have the white letters bin removed?
yea it has been removed when i acquired my ride at first i thought it was faded, but if you look at some pictures in the gallery it seem like its a vinal decal that had been removed. To bad i wish it was still there though to add to the car design.
The day I bought my brand new '99 Ironman (12 miles on the odometer) I removed the hood decal, because I didn't like how it looked. Even before I made the decision to buy the Ironman I intended to remove the decal if I bought it.
I've done 13 Ironmans...does that count?:bwgy:
And heres a recent pic...
