Where are the rest of our astral's? I know we are the largest number.
Bueller? Bueller?
maybe they all fell asleep since the color of their VX is so boring ;Db; i felt left out on the color bashing
And Astral Silver was exciting enough to be Isuzu's official promotional color for the VX, too...
Here she is again...

nah.. they just couldnt sell them so they used them for promos ;Db;

110,000
I've only owned it maybe 2 months but in that time I have added 3 inch OME springs with torsion bar crank, SBC window brackets and spare tire brackets, New stereo head unit and 10 inch sub in back, and I repaired a bad blower resistor and removed the hot wired toggle switch a PO installed for the blower on/off. Also I greased up the plastic with some Back 2 Black. Oh yeah, almost forgot, I pulled out two non-working sets of fog lights and a chunk of PO wiring and installed a slick pair of Pilot lights in the factory location hooked to the factory wiring.

Here's my astral parked at Makapu'u beach on the island of oahu, Hawaii :)
It's one of 3 on the island to the best of my knowledge. Sorry, I don't have the vin#. Just hit 113,000 miles and running strong.

Well, since this thread is for VX's which came in the Astral shade of silver...
I feel no need to post what year mine is...
(hint: no climate control)
I think my vin shows up elsewhere...:_confused
She's creeping up on 70k, & showing the abuse I've given her, primarily in the cosmetic dept...:sighwgray
Here are the best representations of how she currently looks...

Is your License different on the front than the back Ldub? Funny censorship
Regardless of color (because Ebony IS the fastest) I think Suzy is the baddest looking VX out there.
1999 ASTRAL Silver, super stock, 143xxx, 0415http://www.vehicross.info/gallery/data/2/vx17.jpg
Dub,
The only two that I can think of off the top of my head that are anywhere near Suzy's bad assness are JoFotoz and LittleBeast. OH, and I can't remember his screen name right now, but the buy who has the "MOTH" (I think) tag line at the bottom of his posts. That think looks post apocolyptic.
I finnally got a Vehicross two years ago now. I first saw one in mission to Mars a decade ago and wondered what it was. Now I've been an owner for two years. My VX loves gas and oil! But I expected that but I did not expect it to swallow so much oil. I believe I have one with the limited drain back holes in the oil rings. My VX consumes about a 1 quart of oil every 250miles on the highway. It doesnot blacken oil or leak, it just eats it! Gets about 15miles to the gallon, sometimes worse and never better. I'm changing brake rotors this month and thus fitting new bearings all around so it will be interesting to see if there is any change.
I also have 1980 Fiat Spider softtop convertable, and a pair of Bertone-Fiat X1/9's. The most practical car I own is my Nissan Quest. I am currently installing a new radio/mp3 player in my VX replacing a pioneer headunit that the previous owner installed and broke on me last month.
My next mod will be fitting larger OEM Isuzu rims on the car with new INDY500 FireHawk's which are my favorite tires on all my vehicles that they fit.

View this thread and you will clearly see why Astral is the best.!!!!
you guys are a bunch of Astral's....lol
I noticed something. If you divide the number of Astrals in "Moncha's Survey" by 1 you come up with 154 Astrals. That's quite a large number of "Astrals". In fact it's the biggest bunch of "Astrals" I've ever been associated with. It's probably the biggest bunch of "Astrals" on the planet. It's also the nicest bunch of "Astrals" around (but some "Astrals" are nicer than other "Astrals"). So continue to sign-in all "Astrals", we sure wouldn't want to miss one. Cause being without a "Astral" could sure make ya grouchy.
thats because hes a Astral kind of guy :smilegray..plus he wishes he had his own...hehe:p

just passed 111K on the clock, still pulls like a champ.
And thanks to whomever posted the hood fix to raise the bumpstops. Though I do miss wanking on the hood release lever to check the oil.
0887, 125K original everything save brakes and serpentine belt and battery and tires.
