Austin Texas ( Central Texas Owners )

:wave: So I'm pretty new to the community. I've had the VX for a week. I've noticed there's a few VehiCROSS owners in the Austin TX area. And I would love to get to know everyone, maybe hit up some Saturday night carshows sometime. I know of a silver VX in Round Rock, near Round Rock High School. But I guess no one is ever home, ive got friends who live in the area. So i've stopped by a couple of times and rang the door bell. I also saw another Ebony Black VX at the intersection of Anderson Mill and Parmer. So just seeing if I can get anyone together.

You guys wouldn't happen to have a spare stock 18 inch rim or the 4 mounting pieces that go inside the back door that hold the back door panel on?

He needs the grommets that go in the holders that the screws attach to. The cover has all four screws.

The grommets are shown there, as well. Price is $4.51 each.

Go to the site, enter year, make and model. On the left hand column, select "Body Hardware > Tail gate > Interior Trim > Mounting bracket".

There is a diagram there. I'd suggest you call them in the morning to verify they have them prior to attempting to place an order :)

The VX with the new Nitto Terra Grapplers 275/65R18's. Stock height/no lift. They fit but with ultra minor trimming to the front fender wells.

Well. Almost. The little one will be here around Thanksgiving. I also have a '70 Camaro RS Z28 and a '70 El Camino SS 454. So I was raised on the carshow scene.

I had that same Z28...Hugger Orange...White stripes...Muncie 4 speed...man I miss that car...:bwgy:

We love car shows too but with 4 vehicles, a house, lots of grass, and not the recreational kind, and aging parents, there isn't enough time! Check out Minis Takes The States this Saturday, like 900 minis we are going from austin to Dallas out 79, people from all over the globe from San Francisco to Boston.

Usually do #1, but the cars (M3 and STi) usually make it out there. Did bring the truck once, and it rec'd a lot of attention. I think it'd be pretty cool to have a massive VX turn out for it one of these days.

Anyone know where other then the Office Depot parking lot at 183 & 1431 where the Saturday night Carshow is taking place. I always see cars in and around the Tinseltown Theater/Grahams Central Station in Pflugerville. Its driving me nuts.

I ran into Lex last night at Top Notch on Burnet Road. Pretty awesome to see a fellow VXer out there. Im shocked I dont see more of us in the Austin Area seeing as there are more here then anywhere else on Earth. But I am so down for a meet. Im actually more interested in maybe doing a camping trip/meet. Its starting to be that perfect weather. And wouldn't mind bugging out in the wilderness with the VX's.

Yep. You got my number so im down for any meets. Lonestar Roundup is the First weekend of April down on Congress. Friday and Saturday night. I never miss this event.
