Looks like a squint eyed minivan with an H3 grill. Sweet :rolly:
:sighb:
The H4 (or whatever it WAS going to be called) never gets made, but this travesty gets the green light?
Check out 2025 Mercedes G Class ...makes me feel Isuzu had the styling smarts way before anybody else.
that is the fugliest grill ive ever seen...
x2.
Looks like Jeep stole quite a few styling marks from the Range Rover Evoque, especially the headlight & foglight treatment.

The fugly grill alone of the Jeep makes it a hands-down "non-buy".
:bgwb:
;puke2;
Hate it. Most jeep owners seem to hate it too.
I saw a petition to stop Jeep from labeling the new model as "cherokee" because XJ owners didn't their image ruined.
I gotta agree...that's the first thing I thought when I first saw the photo.
There is a lady that owns a diner I frequent that owns an Evoque. It does draw alot of attention from customers and the workers there refer to it as futuristic inside. Waiting until spring to take the VX there sometime...see if it garners any interest..lol.
The VX's external styling has it all over this new "Cherokee," and I'm not a big fan of the Evoque, either.
It's too bad our dashes and stacks are so early 90's. Styling-wise, it's the weakest part. I said styling, yes. No need to mention the back-seat entry/egress (tough to do without laughing), or the popperless tailgate, or the storage space... But I love my VX like few cars I've ever owned.
Speaking of - stay tuned. New horse on the way to the stable.

Jeep really does want to kill their brand!
Eeeeeeeyyyyyyuk.
Haaa! Never, my friend. Not as long as they look like that, anyway. And sure as hell not as long as I own my VX. So yeah... "never."
But what I'm getting does have full-time AWD.
Yep, this is the stack I'm referring to. Not sure I'd call it minor though. But I suppose it's functional enough.

All week I've been watching the NASCAR prep for the Daytona 500 and they kept mentioning how this new Gen 6 car "looks just like the car you see on the street". Ummm, yeah just like this Yeep "looks like a VX." I don't see any NASCAR race cars (or any VX other than the VX-4) with four doors!!!

Thas also what "they" said about the Roman empire...
&..well...speaking of "downfalls"...L-O-L
I like the new Jeep. I have my vx and Cherokee and couldn't be happier, however I admit the time will come one day when I reach my goal of driving the vx to 190k and sell it to the next person to continue the love affair. To me, this looks like a spinoff of the next stepof what i might want in a car. I used to be skeptical of these newer jeeps but then I spent a lot of time in the second gen Liberty and loved it. Until then, the Gunbarrel just kicked over 120k. At this rate, it will take six to eight years before I sell it.
ugly times 100
Horrible!
That first video I am still waiting for the "offroad" part to begin. Nothing there I couldn't do in my 2 wheel drive stock Ford Ranger.
Second video has nothing in it that we can buy in that form from a Heep dealer...though there are a few they should offer (but sadly probably never will)!
I had a 14 jeep patriot as a rental for the past 12 days. Had even thought about getting one as my replacement car until I drove it a bit. Sure pulled down on hills. Was really disappointed in Jeep because of it. Only thing good I can say was it was easier on my back injury than the VX but no way would I trade.

Check out this one, it looks just like a foxfire.
The interior looks good but I can't stand how the body looks. Someone that owns a chain of automatic car washes designed this body.
Under "woes" for the Trailhawk...
Approach/departure angle? Skid plates? Ground clearance?
Nope... Too much power, no memory seat (really?), leather upholstery limitations...

?
Well, I LOVE that crazy-lookin' "Jeep-from-the-future" front end so much that I checked one out over the weekend - but within 5 seconds all of my interest completely evaporated.
Line up the new Cherokee with any other small SUV and I would find it impossible to pick it out from an Escape, CRV, etc. when looking at the side or rear. Same ol' cookie-cutter. In person it is just way too minivan/station wagon - not enough off-road heck-raiser. Apparently the beauty shots I've seen over the last few months were taken from VERY low angles to make it look beefier.
I trust it's off-road capable as Jeep claims, but it just looks like a slightly lifted car in person. No thanks.
I almost crashed while driving to my job site when i saw that abomination with the "Cherokee" bagde on the doors.
I finally saw one in real life. Horrible is an understatement. The Trailhawk might look better than the one I spotted, but it would have to be a huge improvement for me to re-think getting a Wrangler.
