thanks Jose
Thanks JR.
I highly recommend the WeatherTech versions. They do not require any tape or bracketing (held in place by tension) and are a custom fit. I had them on my VX before replacing with JDM OEM ventvisors.

Yeah, I have to agree with John. The WeatherTechs looks great. I'm sure the other brands are good too. It seems like every VXer I've met in Dallas, Austin, and Houston uses the WeatherTechs.
Where did you get your JDM visors and how much?
I just ordered a set of GTS "sportgaurd" visors, from speedy performance (yesterday morning) , i havent ordered from them before, however their customer service seems pretty good (real people!!) and according their inventory, they have them for the VX on hand.. well see... ill post when they arrive with my impressions about this vendor.. theyre $8-$10 cheaper then all the other links above and offer free shipping on over $50 orders, saving money scares me though, is it "too" good of a deal??
ive never bothered with these before, but after getting soaked opening the window in the rain, i figured it would be a good thing for the vx. I just hope this brand is at least "okay".... i also ordered a k&n filter from the same place as no one had them locally.. gotta love low cost performance and styling upgrades :)
The JDM visors are no longer available. N1 (Albert) got them from me before all the health problems. I don't know anything about the GTS, but in general would not recommend the tape on type - I've seen those come off a truck before (the JDM are tape on, but have two metal brackets that hold them to the window frame beneath the weather strip).
Since the WeatherTech are held with tension I think they'd be much less likely to come off.

My WeatherTech have been on since May... and have never slipped, they dont look scuffed, havent cracked and definitely have not come loose. I would highly recommend spending the extra $10-15 as compared to a tape on type.
Love the WeatherTechs! Best $45 I ever spent, went on in about 2 minutes and can be easily removed. Look great, work great and don't even touch the paint. No tape, no damage, no alignment issues. TWO THUMBS UP!
Another vote for the weathertechs.
Thanx guys... just ordered the weather tech deals. Now, 'bout those Lambo doors... Talk about a perfect fit. Hell, I don't even like scissor doors particularly, but the two ideas seem to mesh really well. See ya... goin' driving.
Just installed my weathertech's, what an easy install! Took less than 5 min. And now there is NO RAIN/SNOW COMING IN!!!!!!! If you smoke this is a must have mod. My hair doesn't freeze on the way to work anymore since there isn't that strong cold breeze. One of my best mods!
Where didi you find those?
http://www.weathertech.com or if you dont feel like typing that out http://www.mats.com takes you to the same place...
ok...I have the vent visors...but...they are not that great....try washing your windshield with your windows cracked and just your vent visors protecting you......you'll wind up getting your face washed ;eekp;
never had a problem... what do you consider 'cracked'?
Even with my window down all the way I only get a couple of drops of wiper fluid. Without the ventvisors it felt like I got about half the fluid inside the cab (only made that mistake once, came home and ordered the ventvisors that night).
cracked is cracked...even minutely.....
while driving ...every time I watch my wiper fluid race up the window...the wipers doing their job even...and the remaining fluid runs up window...up the side...and directly inbetween window and vent visors...and gathers directly at the spot where your window would be opened if it was cracked.
I've had minimal if any at all dripping inside with the visors on...
Without them, it was pretty much a deluge that convienently landed right where the window and door switches are... (as it did with my 96 intrepid, and my 92 Grand Prix.. I think that is some sort of auto designers conspiracy)
i received and installed my gts "sport guards" last week, the service from speedy performance was very good, well packed items, etc.. no complaints there...
the only complaint i have about the gts version is that the front part where it meets the mirror housing isnt more contoured to the body lines, the rest was fine though.. and they work well..no washer mist, or rain run off into the car at all, easy to install (adhesive)... so I give them a score of about 7, two points off for the front edges, which annoyed me,and -1 for beinig adhesive attached..but im picky so it may not be such an issue with most.. they get a 10 for function though.....
