A couple weekends ago, I helped Sir Ascinder relocate his future 1-Ton VX shell to its new abode.
We were accompanied by our wives, who kept us going graciously with their banter and endless support of our dodgy operation. Said operation, involved jacking the VX exoskeleton up high enough to get it supported on two heavy wood beams, which flexed uncomfortably under the heft of the VX's stout chassis. Once suspended, the flatbed trailer was liberated from underneath, and the slow process of back and forth lowering began.
Once low enough, the VX frame was strapped to some very high tech rollers, fashioned from steel wheel dollies and blocks of cinder. From there, the VX was simply rolled in. There it remains, only to emerge sometime in the very near future, as the monster 1-ton Victory White VX of Ascinder's dreams.
While we worked, our tummies rumbled, and Linda took a few Lomographs of the process, which I am sure we will all look back on fondly.
