THE SEARCH IS OVER! I am now officially the new owner of Foxfire 0441. I will be picking her up on Friday. :grinb::grinb::grinb::grinb::grinb:
Congrats !
Hope you enjoy it all and welcome ( officially ) to the hood ! :yesgray:
Congrats and welcome to the obsession! :bgwb:
Thank you!
First order of business when I pick her up is to fix the oxidized headlights. That was pretty much the only thing wrong with her. It did have some rust on the undercarriage, but it was decent for being in New England its whole life.
'Bout freak'n time!
Oh yea! Congrats! :)
Great to hear! Don't think I need to welcome you to the madness, as you've had it for a few months already!
Times 2, I must say...
Like what could be better than that....like, meeting Pat Sajack...MAYBE...

Hey, congratulations FINALLY!!
There are some good recommendations here on what's best for polishing out the headlights. Give a shout out if you haven't already found them. Just remember to be super careful around the headlight "horns" that stick up and throw down a couple-three layers of masking tape on the paint & cladding so you don't sand off something important (like the paint!) :eekgray: :)
I'm glad you finally found the right one. I never mentioned this before, but I was up in your backyard with my VX back in October '03. I was up on Mount Washington for two days taking lots of pics.
A clear day on the mountain is the ultimate photo op for your new VX!
Lets see those pics!

Congrats again! I've officially modified my tracking list to show you as the current owner. So NOW it's official lol. :p
Non members can post pics too...just less storage space. Or photobucket!
This should work, although I don't know how many you can do as a site supporter vs. non site supporter:
HOW TO UPLOAD PICS TO YOUR GALLERY
~Click on "Gallery" in the blue header above
~Then click "Gallery Links" from the same blue header
~In that drop down box you should see, second from the bottom..."Upload photos" - Click that.
~Then it will let you select 5 pics (one at a time) from your computer. Click on "Choose File" and find the pic you want. If they're really big megapixels, I've found it bombs out if I do more than 2 at a time. So I'd hit "Upload/submit" after those 2, then just do a few at a time.
~If they're smaller files, you can do all 5 at once.
~Sometimes, after it's done uploading your pics, it will show another screen where you have to click at the bottom of screen..."Process".

HOW TO ATTACH PICS TO A POST & HOW TO EDIT AND ADD PICS TO A POST
~Start a post
~On right side -> it says "My Pics"...click Open
~A new window opens with your pics. At the top of the window there's a a blue header with a drop down box for selecting what size/type attachment...select "Original Image"...it will make the full size pic appear in post.
~You can put up to 20 pics in a single post.
~Separate each pic by a RETURN/ENTER or sometimes they'll end up just displaying left to right, instead of scrolling down....drives some of our members crazy to scroll sideways..
~You can go back to your post and delete your current attached pics....
~and edit it to attach the full size pics:
~hit EDIT
~then "Go advanced"
~then "My Pics"
~Make sure it's "original Image"
~select your pics by clicking on them.
Or you could lessen the wait by posting a direct link to your Hummer forum gallery...
Well here's where they are, but apparently you have to be logged in to see them:

Awesome, how'd you do that? I just tried to upload them but apparently not enough space.
Anyone else notice how beautiful the cladding looks?
Don't try to upload them as attachments to your post (like you did on the Hummer site). What you need to do is upload them to your actual member gallery here. See instructions in Sue and Ldub's posts above, or go here and give it a whirl - it's fairly self explanatory.

Got the title today. Now just need to get some temp plates.
She's Finally Home Sitting Next To The H3. What A Beauty. Ok Everyone, I'm Officially Obsessed!!!!!!!
Just ordered some new parts on ebay. Got a new PCV Valve and a new IAC Valve. I'm hoping the new IAC Valve will fix my rough cold start shifting.
Congrats!
My credit score is 001
So we are getting Humpty repaired. My frame is supposedly straightened. And only 200$ so far, now for the rest of the stuff, probably will spend the most on the right side door.
:work:grats
Bought 3rd new item for my VX yesterday. Picked up a digital thermometer at PepBoys. It is exactly what I had been looking for since a month ago. It has both a visor clip and a suction cup so you can choose how to mount it. :) I think I'll use this thread as my "build thread", even though its not really a build. LOL!
Picked up another new part for my VX today. A K&N air filter. Hopefully it gives my engine just a bit more pep.
I love K&N stuff, that's all I use. But man, it's so expensive!
