Thought maybe he rolled down that hill into some sort of overpass pylon.... then I realized, IT'S A HOUSE!
He looked ok from the way they carted him into that van, I mean, ambulance.
I think he's likely dead, did ya see him laying kind of face down in the snow, while the 3 cops are just standing there, no care being rendered, no urgency, not being covered to keep warm.
First I thought maybe they're doing spinal precautions and not moving him, but then when I saw him being carted like a piece of meat into the van....I think it's curtains for him...:deady:
And like the way the cop handled potential "evidence", just tossed the bottle?....perhaps they don't need the evidence since he's DOA...
Dat's our KAT ... always with the positive assumptions!!!
:slap:
holy crap thats awful :(
The air bag did deploy and the front seat was moved forward but I think he's just dead drunk. You can see him move his hand upward at about 48 seconds into the vid.
Maybe it's just me, but at about 2:10 in looks like the side windows have been removed and it has a "panel van" type of appearance...but might just be the snow and the camera angle.
The name... is DUMASS. :slap:
The only words I could make out was Isuzu VehiCROSS. I wonder if insurance reimburses the import cost of a vehicle, not just the value?
Don't worry, the driver is live he was drunk!!!!, it happened in last year.
I've heard that a VX roof does not give way until the third smash of the car crusher in the salvage yard, it's probably what saved him.
I know it's been a few weeks, since it was posted here but I watched the entire video and the long story is that the driver sped past the road police check-point ignoring their signalling to stop, then while being chased by the police he crashed into the oncoming car which hit two more cars, he THEN drove away at speed again, but lost control of the car and went over the embankment where he hit a residential building.
Russia had (and still has afaik) a zero tolerance for alcohol, so over there it doesn't matter if you had a beer, a shot or completely drunk. Once they start drinking they don't stop just because they'd have to drive.
So what you're saying is they get their money's worth out of their drunk driving ticket?
Exactly, this is how I see this - they don't stop because they will be arrested no matter how much alcohol they have in their blood... and those who can stop - cannot afford a glass of whine in the restaurant... idiotic system in my view..
as to this accident, true, as Vyacheslav said, no victims, happened a while ago in Far East of Russia (a RHD VX by the way), and guess what - it was running on LPG - our cars are still fast, even on this fuel ;)
Russia seems to be a dangerous place for VX's. :(

I don't feel bad for the driver one bit honestly if he was running from the cops, and since they didn't say HOW drunk he was I'm gonna guess pretty good seeing as all the crap he caused and driving away from another accident, He's lucky he didn't kill someone
I don't think that any of us feel sorry for the driver.
We do feel sorry for the VX though.
Ya me too, I would gladly take it lol
It does look like it was converted to a solid panel in the rear. There is no snow cover on the cladding or on the tail light..
Haha I watched it again.. Must have been sleepy or something the first time.. oops
I thought the same thing. When that spot hits it looks like no window there, but in the footage before that you can see the glass is icy.
to get vx in Russia buyer have to pay 6 euro for each sq cm - customs, then taxes then road use taxes - gonna be around 20 000 USD on top off VX cost. I would think twice before drinking or doing crazy stuff with VX in Russia :) unless they don't know what to do with all money they have
