NEVADA MARIJUANA DISPENSARIES
Is Tom flipping us the bird?;eeky;:rolly::bwgy:
LOL, You are probably the only person I've ever encountered who intentionally has tire marks all over his landscaping.
Good thing you don't have an HOA, they would cite you for having cars on rocks in your driveway...get it, instead of cars on blocks, I cleverly changed that to rocks, it rhymes...
Give me a break, I am on duty, not in Moab:(
So quiet on the board this weekend... if a post is made and no one's there to read it, did it really happen? Have fun guys! :_beer:
Have a great trip gang!! Be safe!!
I guess I will be the first to give an update...
I am sitting in my tent at the Portal as I type this...exhausted. Was up at 3am and on the road by 4. 10 hours later arrived at the Portal. A few tents were set up but nobody was home. I set up my camp and Kodiac rolled in. We caught up for a few moments then rolled into town to the "Stoop". Caught up with the old crew and was happy to meet a few new ones as everyone started to roll in. Dub kept everyone entertained, some last minute wrenching took place and everyone enjoyed ice cream and beverages:bwgy:
Tomorrow morning we are off to the "Top of the World".:dan_ban:
Wish i were there ! Next year i hope .I love that place , i have been three times in my zuk . too much fun the time just flys by too fast . you need like three weeks there to see most the trails . do hells revenge thats a fun one . :yesgray:
I'm totally JEALOUS!!! I'd so much rather be there!
HAHAHAHAHAaaaaa.....nice prank. I drove all the way here from Austin, and there are NO OTHER VX's IN SIGHT!!!
Good one, guys. Totally punked me! :)
But, um, seriously: 4:00 pm, where everybody at?!? :(
They should be coming in from the North side of town after the trail run. Do you know where the Red Rock Inn is?
I know the Red Rock Inn. Is that Meetup Central? I pitched a tent (no, really...an actual tent, not a euphemism) at Portal, then had an iced coffee at Mickey D's, and now I'm totally out of ideas. Actually I'm having a beer(s) at Eddie McStiffs on Main Street. Anybody reading this, come to the bar...
I just sent you a PM with a few phone numbers - I had to leave Jack a message a bit ago so they may still be in the boonies.
Where YOU at, Zeus?
I'll be working late the next few days - I'm trying to get down there tho... I'm there in spirit!
Oh I know - just too busy trying to meet a deadline... sucks!
Seriously, no pics yet!? What's up, Billy, you slacker!
After top of the world some of us went down rose garden hill. It made for a VERY long day. We left Portal around 9am and didnt get back to town till after 10:30pm.
Ever drive around in the desert at night on a trail you've never been on before? Spooky.
Pics, vids and stories will be coming at some point. For some reason my laptop wont work in portals wiresless but works everywhere else.
Top of the World was not a very good trail last year. Very boring. But the pic was worth it I suppose. Must have taken forever with 10or 12 trucks getting pics!! It was just me and trooper trouble. I wish I was there now!!!

And this is what is below the truck:

why are we seeing reruns
So here is the scoop (would have gotten one yesterday but after a long day I tried and my 'puter battery died)...
Yesterday a group of about 24 vehicles (which included a 4runner, FJ, jeep, rodeo and 2 trooper) set out at 9am and concoured the Top of the World trail. Pretty straight forward trail. On the way back about half the group decided to head out to Rose Garden Hill. A fun trail with a few small ledges and then a hill with multiple rocky ledged. We worked everyone down the hill without any carnage. Shortly after that the sun started setting and the last couple hours on the trail was in the dark as we exited through Onion Creek. During the day we had cold, windy, rainy and snow flurries which added to the fun. We arrived back at camp at 10:30pm...a long, long day!
Todays trip was a group of 8. We ventured out on Steel Bender. A fun day it was and the weather was a bit nicer but still on the cool side. With a smaller group we had time to play around a bit a try some "alternate" routes on the obstacles. I earned the title "king of the strap" after some of my lines didn't work as well as I thought and took a strap 3 times. But if you haven't been on the end of a strap you haven't been wheeling, right! My rock sliders got a good workout today and did their job.
And now the part you have all been waiting...the pictures!
Well, you will have to wait just a bit longer since the wifi here is slow and it's taking forever to dump them into photbucket...so stand by:bwgy:

Sorry Sue - T4B made me do it.
PK
I'm innocent Sue ... I tell ya ... innocent.
Can't see the pix whilst at work. I'll hafta go online tonight from home.
Good to know there were no casualties on the trail - The weather is supposed to keep getting better from here thru the weekend so live it up!
Here are some pics from the last couple days... I met up with everyone on Monday but had to leave last night to take care of some business today. It was a blast, i'm trying to convince the "ball and chain" to take another trip sat-sun to meet up with Jack and Jo who are staying longer. Only took me 3.5 hrs to get home last night
I was only able to get a few pics because I forgot the SD card for my camera.

Steel Bender!!!! very fun trail. After going down this section Jo broke his driver side window out shutting his door, not sure why it broke?? Other than that, everyone made it through the trail with minimal damage
I wish I was still in Moab!!!! :madb:
One day, I am going to go to MOAB.
Have a safe and great time.
Alright boys and girls...here is the next installment of "what we did in Moab":bwgy:

Looking good Billy! Silly me, I forgot my camera this year. But there were plenty of photos taken so be patient they're cumming. ;)
:wtfy: I can't believe Jo's window blew out like that! Crazy! I wonder if it has something to do with the Moab 2008 when his keys got locked in and they had to Jimmy the lock??
Looks like you guys had some fun this week!
