My Hood Insert is most definitely a shade of gray.
Got out my Pantone Color Book (standardized ink colors for printing)
It's a close match to PANTONE 433 C Pantone Color Chart
Photo taken under fluorescent lighting, might be different under direct sunlight.

Im thinking of just getting a camo coloured wrap for it. would look good i think!
Yep, you could get anything from carbon fibre effect to a photo of your own face, lol!!! Theres quite a rew wrap companies in London. The craze it the moment is to get a full car wrap in matt black and I’ve been severely holding my self back from a matt olive green (military) full VX wrap !!! :D
Awesome. I have decided to pain mine Satin OD brown. The green I found is not the right color for me.

Its called olive drab brown i guess. LINK
I usta have an OD truck. It was Orange Drab. It started out pretty sharp but faded to look like a VDOT truck.:grino:
I never saw an insert in 'showroom' condition. I know mine was grey until I had it LineX'd.
BTW, the guy here sells CF applique sheets big enough to cover the insert.

If you're really retro70's, he has flames too.
We use Modern Image in San Diego and I think they are in LA. They wrapped our Land Rover LR2 for our MS Bike Event in October.

Hey Turbo, what does a wrap like that cost ? I think it would be neat to do the Interceptor like gasmask posted.
I do graphics/signs/wraps/etc, been talking with my son about wrapping his with a matte
black film or a white/grey/lt grey digital camo.
