here's something super random/odd/eerie....and i know you can make numbers do just about anything...but still, my entire life my lucky number has been 33....if you take my VX production number divided by the total number produced for 2001 ==== guess what? 0451/1345you get 33%.
Meant to be I guess.
that is funny...but i dont think you have the right production numbers... :(
PEANUT BUTTER KID--- Really??? Then what are the correct production numbers??? For verification, please visit: www.WildToys.com
At the website, click-on the word "WILD" (top-center of page), then click-on the little "Proton VX" picture (left column). Enjoy.
oh, well maybe the formatting threw me off...
im used to seeing it viewed differently, i guess i was looking at the wrong line for my VX and i was like, uh no thats not right ;)
I wonder who owns the only production white metallic???
rumor has it, that he lives in northern colorado...somewhere near me...
if i EVER see it...i will chase him down and get info...i promise..
What is the difference between Astral Silver Metallic and Kaiser Silver Metallic?
astral silver is lighter color only used in 99
kaiser silver is more gunmetal and used in 00 and 01
I guess I never realized they only built the Astral in 99
The owner is a member of this forum...just not active. Rollingmoss who lives in Longmont, Co.
As far as I know he still owns it.
Isuzu says they sold 4,166 in the US so the color charts could be a little off.

"Sales were intentionally limited, with only 5958 vehicles being produced between 1997 and 2001, just 1805 being produced for the domestic Japanese market and the remaining 4,153 finding homes in the United States."

not saying your wrong johnny...but wikipedia is a HORRIBLE source...anyone can edit information on there...i could edit that site to say there is only 1 vehicross and it is in Greeley, Co...
Those numbers I posted are from an official press release right from Isuzu earlier this year as part of their US light vehicle shutdown. Any time those color numbers are posted they should be mentioned as approximate.
I've had those color numbers posted on my own web site since 2002 and I used the word approximate from day one. I never had 100% faith in those numbers and the Isuzu press release from this year shows why.
