VehiCROSSES, VehiCROSSs, VehiCROSSi, VehiCROSSis, VehiCROSSen... :p
Those of you who have watched Brian Regan will understan the last one.
But I am curious as to what the answer is. There has to be an English major somewhere on the forums. Right???

Well, English Major I am NOT, but I love a challenge! :p
How about Vehicross X2 (or any applicable #), Vehicross', Vehicrossers, ...
Well, I know 'en' is plural in German, but I like "VXes" personally.
:) Bart
I was an English Major @ Texas Tech University...
Vehicross is a noun...
Words that end in -ch, x, s or s-like sounds, however, will require an -es for the plural.
Therefore:
Vehcrosses, VXes,
Normally, we use apostophe when we create a plural form of a word that refers to a word, so VX's might be acceptable since VX isn't technically an acronym, more a slang, we do not use an apostrophe for a true acronym like Nasdaq. The exception would be an acronym that ends in an 's'.
i always say VXes.. although if im feeling kinda silly i will say VehiCri (cactus - cacti)
1=Goose, 2=Geese
1=VehiCross, 2=VehiCreess
Yep, my vote is on Vee-Exes. :cool:
Or, as Brian Regan would put it, VehiCROSSen.

But what about Isuzu... it kinda already sounds plural
One Isuzu, many Isuzu
Years ago I worked at a car dealership in St. Louis for a summer, and there was a similar ongoing debate about what the plural of "Lexus" should be. Despite solid arguments on all sides, the matter was settled when one of the most colorful salesman on the lot (as judged by the pants he wore) once said of a hauler full of them was being unloaded...
"Look at all those pretty Lexums!!"
Iamironman - I'm glad we have an English major on the board! I'd hate to think my fully-proper use of hyphenated compound modifiers was going unnoticed.
I prefer to use (proper slang): VX's
