What to replace to ride like new again?
I need my VX to ride like new. Besides new shocks (Ranchos or so...) what else would I need? Over the last few years it has gotten worse. Then I drive new cars from work and they ride over the same streets bumps so much better...

The Bilsteins are a good choice.....
I own a VX with factory shocks in really good shape, and I recently purchased a VX with worn out factory shocks. I replaced the bad shocks with the Bilsteins. In a side by side comparison, the factory shocks are slightly stiffer. The Bilsteins give a slightly smoother ride, but do not control quite as well during hard cornering (I'm an "enthusiastic" driver). All in all, they're nearly equal to the stock shocks, for 1/4 the cost. By the way, I bought the Bilsteins from the guys at Independance4X, and they were really good to deal with.
