Hey guys, we have a trip planned for jan 19-21 out at barnwell mountain(DFW/east texas)
they have trails for anything from stock to buggys.
We have 3-4 troopers going. It'd be cool to see some VX's there. I wish I could bring my moms.

I've been out htere with Scott, a friend and fellow VXer. It's really fun out there.
I'm going to see if I can arrange my schedule around and maybe meet you out there one of those days.

I think that maybe where I fried my alternator in the mud??? With a bunch of troopers.....and the ac compressor......mud no good
I might be able to make it early Sunday,if it's fairly dry. Like VXcrazy said "mud no good" I hate trying to clean the undercarriage. I have been out there and it is fun though!
Cool, I'd love to see some vx's. I don't know it there is much mud there. Its normaly very dry. unless it rains alot.

I'm still holding out for Sunday morning. We will need to call out there to see if it is open.They close it if it is too muddy,so the trails don't get rutted out.
Bad news. trips off for this weekend. Barnwell is closed do to rain.

Go to texasmotorizedtrails.com I think it's $20 to get in, a little more to camp. If you think you're going to go a couple times a year, get a membership it's only $40
Many apologies for not making it out there,stayed up to late and slept in. Next time for sure. I almost made it there,got to Terrell and then turned around. Sorry, hope you guys had fun.
