Aftermarket / Non-Isuzu Pedal Compatability

Been thinking about upgrading my pedals for awhile now, but really wanted to find something close to the Isuzu JDM accessory pedals:

I used to have drilled aluminum 350Z pedals on my G35 coupe, and it turns out they look very similar:

So for those that have changed their pedals, how really different are they amongst manufacturers? Does anyone think these will fit "out of the box" or with just a few additional bits from Fastenal?

Those should work OK. Prolly better off drilling your own holes rather than trying to get theirs to line up. That way you can offset the brake pedal to the left to get more clearance for the skinny pedal (don't wanna be hitting both at the same time).

Nada in your gallery, but found them in Eric's. Not seeing anybody who's done the dead pedal yet though...

Hate to say it by the JDM ones are much cooler.

How hard would they be to fabricate out of some heavy stainless?

Although I'd be a little afraid of wet slippery pedals.

If you get those, cut the "wings" off the brake pedal...you'll be glad you did.

I fabb'd my own, starting with these as my raw materials.

They are now MUCH smaller & less likely to be stomped at the same time.

I've had dead pedals for a few years, L because I like the way they look.
R (on the hump) to reduce carpet wear next to the "live" pedal...:yesgray:

I actually like the cheap "ricer" clamp on pedals that I've been getting. The ones I get have the holes punched through from the back so they have good ridges to keep your feet from slipping. Great in snow and mud, just dont try to drive without shoes. Got them at one of the local big box parts stores.

As stated earlier, those Bully pedals I started with have been dramatically downsized.

Since then, I've incorporated a diamond plate aluminium "heel plate" into the floor mat.

So the pics above aren't you? I pulled that pic straight out of your gallery - do those pedals belong to somebody else?

Thanks for the tip, I'll have to check that out. As long as they look nice I'm not snobby enough to turn them down just because they're off the shelf from Advance / AutoZone / PepBoys.

Hmmm... looks like you're right, I can't find it there. I have a feeling I clicked on a photo in your gallery, then saw that pic in the preview bar above, which apparently sometimes shows photos from other people's galleries as well. Sorry about that.

Those aren't the JDM pedals but they're the closest I've seen so far. Any idea who makes those, and if they're still in production?

I've been thinking of mixing some sand with two part epoxy resin, then applying it to a couple of these...
