Sounds good, thanks!
Peace.
Tom
sounds great!!!
if i dont get a passenger ill have lots of room, and therefore ill bring some wood from my parents mountain house too!!!
I suppose thats true if we are all sharing a campsite. I was thinking about cooking on the fire and stuff, but I would imagine that a propane stove would be much more efficient and convenient.
true true...a lot of times we go out to dinner as a group it seems... may change this year with the economy though...
unless your me lol...the starving college student... my first year, biju found me on the last night (when i ran outta food) eating salsa for dinner and he felt so bad that he took me down to the $5 all you can eat pizza joint and covered me for the night ;)
HyTop Pepperoni Pizza! I was in tall cotton as a college student when I found them 2 for $1.00.
Peace.

Just to clarify, if we are camping at the group site at Portal, do we need to pre-register?
Yep, just to confirm what Billy just said. We get the group site because I told them we would have at least 10 people staying there.
Peace.
Tom
OK, 'cause when I talked to the gal at Portal she said I didn't have to make a reservation...that was back in January. Guess I'll give 'em another call to be sure.
OK, just talked to Portal, at the moment they only have Billy Oliver and me registered (besides Tom)...they would be please if y'all would call up and get reserved for the Group 'C' site May 10-17 (departing).
ill get my name on that list in the next 2 weeks (next time i get paid ill reserve my spot)
crncnn, you guys know you guys can always find a place to ride ;)
Crncnn and Ascinder, it goes without saying. You have a ride if you want one.
Peace.
Tom
Has this been set? If not, I'd sure like to do the one with the Indian ruins and dinosaur tracks if Todd would be up to it.
Todd is keeping it a secret!:bwgy:
But I am sure it will be a good one!
Is the VX run going to be Tuesday again?
Man I was avoiding this post, but guess now I will have to read it all the way through. I MAY be going its a very slim margin I can but crossing my fingers that planets will align..
Rob,
Hope you can make it again. TRemember to bring Ray with you too,
Peace.
Tom
It's criminal how much I've neglected coming to visit the site to keep in the loop.:( Stoopid busy...
So how's trix?
Going to call Red Rock (cross fingers), any other group hotels?
Any Grand Junction meet/convoy planned?
Ldub, you got a Fargo convoy? Teaming up with the Chicago crowd?..or they still speedy as usual... I don't see you on the list yet, am I gonna have to buy your gas (and gas for Suzie) to make sure you come?
Cheers all.
Yeah Kenny and Donna are coming!!
We are definitely doing the convoy again on Monday. The Chicago guys (and others from all points East) usually hit Denver on that Sunday then pick me up in Glenwood Springs on Monday. We usually stop for lunch in Grand Junction and then head on to Moab from there. It would be great to have you guys join in.
I'll second what Mark just said. I was wondering if yall were going to make it. I just PMed you.
Peace.
Tom
oh ya! definately a convoy from denver/grand junction
hey so...i was throwin some idea's around in my head today when i was bored at work..
would anyone from colorado or the area be interested in trailoring 2 VX's???
my dad has an F350- with a HUGE flatbed...the weight would definately not be a problem, he usually tows around 20k lbs....
ill check on the length of it tomorrow but we may even be able to fit 3...
i dunno, he gets around 20 MPG and it would be much cheaper to throw 2 VX's on a trailer and it would cost around $40 a piece each way (i figure 30 something gallon tank, goes almost exactly 500 miles per tank)
not a necessity but its a possibility for sure...plus we could save some tire tread ;)
