My OEMs were silver-toned metal...these look gold/bronze?? :_thinking Same???
Also, note that two are NOT expanded....on mine, 2 were like that and they were blown.
Hmmm... have to go out to the parking lot and look at mine in a bit.
This might be useful to someone, I'm not sure about the towers, but...

Bart
Starting bid of $20 buys a pretty random assortment of VX parts:

English may not be his first language... or third for that matter. Read it like Boris and Natasha from "Rocky and Bullwinkle" and you'll get a laugh.
Also interesting that the owner seems to have swapped out the 18" rims for 16's.

Buy a VX... IT'S JUST THE CUTEST!!! xoxoxoxoxoxoxo Spirit fingers!
Lol...

Think I saw this mentioned in another thread, but in case you haven't seen it already, there are a ton of parts on eBay right now that were pulled off a no doubt very rare Ironman Edition FoxFire. Nonetheless, there are a significant number of body parts for sale, so if you're in the market, this might be a good chance.

Hard to tell exact condition of the body from the pictures, but it looks like the lesser price is probably only due to miles. $5500 for 123K Foxfire. Methinks not a bad deal for somebody who wants the best color made. :p

Btw, not to pick on you NY/NJ/PA guys too much, but craigslist is just about worthless in your areas. I don't know how many tint, wheel, car wash, and headlight cleaning ads I've had to weed through to find real content. You would think craigslist would block ads with more than 200 keywords in the description (these guys literally paste the make and model of every vehicle ever made into their ads to ensure they pop up in your search).
What d1cks.
I'm going to bid on this assortment of parts to win it tonight and then sell the odds & ends (mdwyer & solitude want some of the stuff so we're not going to be biding against each other). I just want the 2 panels, ashtray, shift knob -(maybe). Let me know if anybody else wants some of this stuff. I'll sell it cheap based on my winning bid amount.
Holy overbid Batman! That grab bag of parts on eBay went for $61 + $15 shipping!
Hood and window wind deflectors $50 - right outside Raleigh, NC. Window deflectors are a dime a dozen, but I've never seen a hood deflector on a VX. Time to go browse the gallery...

Now that's lowering your price. Quick Gussie, call him before it's too late!!!!

Not that it's specific to the VX at all, but a pretty cool idea for those that like using cargo bags rather than racks/boxes:

Think this might work? I mean they do guarantee an OEM fit.

That salvage yard may not know as much as we thought. They are starting the bidding on a spoiler and rail caps at $300. Now I know we have seen $300 for rail caps but in desription he says 3 have been removed so the tabs are broken off and will need glued or cured. But remember these parts new would be $1000. Yeah but they also would be in usable shape.
Nice matching all-weather mats btw...

:p
I wish they had included more pictures of the girl in a different outfit.
Not in great shape, but buffing can do wonders. Even so, I think $200 min. for headlights that require significant reconditioning is pretty steep.

That guy posting the $200 scratched headlamps is going to get raped by this guy:

This guy already has a bid with 6 days left, will be interesting now to see whether the other guy gets any bids at all.
I need to list all that stuff from my other VX on ebay too, my carpet is brand new looking from that truck!
Nifty cool Isuzu seat belt protectors. Not sure if they ship overseas though.

Open-ended ad on craigslist for all parts from a black 99 VX.

Figured this might be useful given the recent threads on fairings. This site has a five star rating by 158 customers, and offers a price $10-15 less than most other sites including free shipping.

Looks correct from the pictures. Would love to see what this would actually look like installed. It's only $89 on a Buy It Now auction if someone wants to try it out...

Sharp looking truck:

100+K on the clock, bad front end damage, but most of the interior and rear of the vehicle looks to be in good shape. He has a reserve, but surely it can't be much right?

Interesting JDM press materials:

Hey anybody notice how Mr. Greedy has lowered his outrageous shipping amounts for his Foxfire "Ironaman" cash for clunkers parts??? Well, I'm Queen of all things ebay and doing that is against the rules in a major way, as it skirts some ebay fees and ebay takes it really seriously....so, I may have reported him.....:bgwo:
Not that I care to see ebay make any more money, but couldn't stand this joker raping us VXers that way!
