Any progress...
5 months and 80+ posts its time a decision was made.
I'll NEVAR CHOOSE!!!!
Bwaaahahahahahahahaha!
but seriously, I have no ideas which I want. It was sorta put on the back burners trying to get the SVO running again. All the time and money I have free are going to that. But preliminary choices are right along with what the polls are showing.
Yes, literally!
those bobets with tires didnt you?
Yeah, but I thought they were kinda ugly... I don't like much the traditional 5 spoke wheel.
Check out centerlines...:yesgray:
Tough to beat a light, (18" x 8" = 22 lb) strong, forged wheel, they're not the cheapest wheels out there, but they do have some models on "overstock pricing" as of late.
Dig around the site, & if you search by vehicle, input "Toyota truck/suv - 6 lug" as your criteria, since they don't have Isuzu as a choice.

I did not check if they had all the selections you posted but this site is pretty cool to see your wheels on your VX.

It even has the option of lifting it. I just have not figured out how to change the tires.
Muahahahahahahahha
My wheels thread will NEVER DIE!
Interesting enough for your attention.
burn and burn, hhmmmmm
Saw that the bolt pattern on the vx is the same as my X. Looks like I'll be putting on the 12.50x15x35's
When I find my VX.
waaht...you intend putting 15"s on....a VX?...cheaper tires?
You and T4B can start a club now!!! The OFH club!!!
You had better check that out thoroughly.
IIRC, some 15" wheels don't clear our brake callipers, some do.
Also, to fit 35's, you will need a lift and some body trimming (easy to do though).
And of course, you need to check the offset.
Look out Tom4B, now that you have gone back to wimpy tyres, you might have a challenger for the supreme title of "OFH".
PK
I voted and had no idea what I voted on:smilewink
Your input is still appreciated! (keeps the thread going and interesting, thus aggrivating the grumpy old men like circmand!!)
well some 15's won't fit and having a half inch less of sidewall is not that big of a deal, that is if you run 16's. I ran 16's and aired down to 10psi all the time in mine with 33's with no issues. Some guys run 17-18 and bigger but I'm not down for that on something I'll air down unless the tires are fairly large (Like a 35" tire on a 18" rim would be the same as a 33" tire on a 16" rim as far as sidewall essentially)
