Haha yeah, I have trouble sleeping at night. Get to sleep in on weekends but that doesnt help with the nights.
Battlefeild Bad Company 2 is also a bad influence LOL.
Found the gps track for ToTW. You can see its much shorter then Dome Plateau. Its mostly just dirt road until about waypoint 3802 (same spot as waypoints 3902 and 4010) then the wheeling begins.
Dome Plateau in pink and ToTW in red...

Oh yea, everything up to waypoint 3801 is hwy 128. All of that should have been deleted from the track. Where the 2 trails meet is Dewey Bridge.
The VX run will be tuesday the 11th.
I always have a seat open as well if anyone needs a spot. As long as you dont mind riding with an evil smoker LOL.
I'm sure I'll have to keep checking the book as well. But at least I have the waypoints and track on my gps to help keep me going the right direction. Though I do take wrong turns even with that sometimes LOL. I need a bigger screen on my GPS, the eyes are gettin old.Quote:
Well it's either that or me trying to lead while reading the Book as I drive; I've never done it.
Hey Kammy, you are welcome to shotgun if you are there by Tuesday, which I doubt you will be. Or any other runs of the week for that matter. There has been talk of Elephant Hill again, probably Kane Creek...who knows what else.
After taking over 2 hrs to get everyone up again and again hill last year, I'd hate to see how long it would take to get everyone up rose garden hill.
RR4wr's rate Top of the World a 4 going down Rose Garden. With good spotting it's no big deal. Going up is a different story rated 6.
Todd
I wont be doing the rose garden thing....
Well, if I'm leading the trail "good spotting" is out LOL
I'll lead ToTW then everyone can decide themselves if they wanna do rose garden hill or just go back out.
For those thinking about going down Rose Garden Hill on the way out from the VX run, I couldnt find any good videos of "real" vehicles doing it but this should give you some idea of the size of the rocks and ledges and how steep it is...

SWEET!!! I'm definitely taking that route. Wouldn't mind trying both directions too if someone else wants to stick around.

Lovely Wendie99
I know pictures and video's never do the Moab terrain justice so I'm reserving judgement on the route until I get there. Either way it's going to be fun.
